I was born on 5^th June 1972. I completed my Graduation from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and Post Graduate, M.Phil & Ph.D from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. I also got Advanced Diploma in Mass Media from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 1998. Before joined at IGNOU in April 2012, I worked at NCPUL, under HRD Ministry, Govt. of India as an Academic Assistant for almost 6 years. Being a keen interest in research in Language and Culture awarded a Junior Fellowship from Ministry of Culture for a period of 2 years. I have been awarded various National and International awards for participating in events and research works, notable among them are prestigious Maulana Azad Essay Competition, (first prize in SAARC Countries level) in 1998 and Kalimuddin Ahmad Award by Bihar Urdu Academy on publication of the book “Jadeed Afsana Tajarbe aur Imkannat” in 2011. I also participated in National Seminars and Conferences. I authored two books apart from the articles published in reputed national journals.
